Testing Accommodation Evaluations

High-stakes exams are used to aid in making admission decisions into certain programs. Eligibility guidelines for testing accommodations vary depending on the specific exam. Most tests require a psychological evaluation documenting a learning disability or other need for an accommodation. A psychological evaluation can aid in getting a 504 accommodations plan and help set you/your child up for success.

In the current high-stakes system of standardized testing, there can be significant disadvantages for those that struggle with various issues that impair their ability to test. Depending on the test, differences of just a few points can impact a person's life in a multitude of ways. Accommodations can help even the playing field for these individuals. Our staff can evaluate you/your child and see if accommodations are appropriate and make recommendations in order to help you/your child succeed. However, it is important to note that previous diagnoses, history of accommodations, nor recommendations for testing accommodations automatically lead to accommodations on standardized tests.
